Martyn Lucas

Singer

Born in 1969 Martyn grew up in a very musical family, his Mother and Father were both in the business, which enabled Martyn to get a passion for performing from an early age. By the age of 16 Martyn had won several piano playing titles and was recognised as an accomplished musician. He had also trained and performed at the prestigious ‘Dartington College of Arts’ in Devon. After leaving college, he became a professional solo singer, working mainly in the South West of England.

Theatre credits include, ‘Noyes Fludde’, ‘The Music Man’, ‘Christmas Cat & The Pudding Pirates’ and a variety of others, including touring around Europe and appearing in ‘Euro Disney, Paris’ with his very own solo show. It was whilst touring that Martyn discovered his unique talent for impersonating such stars as, Sir Elton John, Sir Paul McCartney, Pavarotti, Neil Diamond, Michael Crawford and Sir Cliff Richard. It was this very impression that won him a place on the ITV series ‘Stars in Their Eyes’.

He was very privileged to perform as the ‘Phantom of the Opera’, in London's Covent Garden, Live on Channel 4. It is a very exciting time for Martyn at the moment with the second year's tour under way with, ‘One Night In Vegas’, and releasing his debut single, ‘Anybody Out There’, which is his own composition. Due to the success of 'One Night in Vegas'. He has now released two other shows. 'One Night in Christmas' and 'One Night with the Piano Men'.

 

Daniel Dean

Illusionist

Daniel’s success in showbiz began at the age of 14 when he won his first talent competition, since then he has never looked back, in fact Daniel has developed his talents in magic and illusion to such excellence that he awarded the highly acclaimed title of “The British Magical Champion of Illusion” at the Blackpool Opera House in 2001 and is one of the very few members to enter the prestigious Magic Circle in London with an immediate degree of A.I.M.C and on numerous occasions has been invited as a guest at the Magic Castle in Hollywood..  

With his unique magic and illusion act coupled with his strong vocal and acting ability Daniel has appeared in numerous production shows throughout the country performing alongside such greats as Sir Norman Wisdom.  Daniel has also appeared in many pantomimes playing ‘The Genie of the Lamp’ in ‘Aladdin’, ‘King Rat’ in ‘Dick Whittington’ and ‘Witney Hardup’ an Ugly Sister in ‘Cinderella’.  Last year saw Daniel performing his theatre show as far a field as Barbados and the Caribbean, Monte Carlo and the Mediterranean in the lavish theatres on board two of P&O’s most prestigious cruise liners, the Oriana and Oceana,

Daniel has been appearing this year in a variety spectacular at the Eastbourne Hippodrome and touring with ‘A Little Bit of Music Hall’ featuring Sid Little Show” Having recently performed at Her Majesty’s Theatre in the West End and also performed in the presence of HRH Prince Andrew.

 

Katherine White

Principle Dancer

Katherine grew up in Cornwall and from an early age took up dance training. By the time she was 21 she had performed in many productions including, 'Barnum' where she trained in the art of trapeze. Also classics like 'Carousel', 'Cinderella' and 'Oklahoma', where she extended her talents as an accomplished dancer and began to be awarded lead roles as a singer.

In 1998 she joined Martyn Lucas to form one of the most successful touring duo's. In this show she performed such routine's as classical ballet from 'Phantom of the Opera' and beautiful vocal renditions like 'On My Own' from 'Les Miserable'. Her skills have now been broadened again, in this show she takes on a new style of dance and finds herself not only performing the classical musical numbers, modern upbeat styles but now also the glamour of a Las Vegas show girl.   

 

 

 

Zara Mason

Principle Dancer

Zara grew up in Bristol, where she studied dance from an early age. She performed in many different productions including 'The King and I' and 'Scrooge' at the Bristol Hippodrome. Whilst at dance college Zara achieved her A.I.S.T.D (Associate of the Imperial Society of Dance) which led her to do choreography for several schools in the south west of England, and for several different production companies.

Zara then worked with Illusionist Daniel Dean as a Dancer/Choreographer, and worked alongside him in a 'QDOS' panto playing 'Cinderella'. Zara has been very privileged to perform all over the world for P&O Cruises and dance in some of the most prestigious theatres across the UK including 'Her Majesty Theatre' in the West End of London. Zara recently featured on the Channel 4 series 'Convention Crasher', as the magical assistant 'Panache' assisting Justin Lee Collins from the Friday Night Project'. In his quest to become a master of illusion. 

 

 

 

Emma Gladwin

Dancer

Born in Solihull, at the age of 16 she trained at Central School of Ballet where she became part of British Gas Ballet Central. After Emma graduated she joined a Portuguese musical (Amar Amalia) which toured around Portugal and the Azores islands for 3 and a half years.

On returning to the UK Emma joined Vienna Festival Ballet as a soloist dancer these roles include Cygnets (Swan Lake) Canary Fairy and Little Red Riding Hood (Sleeping Beauty). She has also performed in the Nutcracker and Coppalia. Emma also has gained her dance degree which has taken her down the path of teaching and has recently joined the teaching faculty for Rambert Dance Company. Other jobs include recently filming a new children’s programme for the BBC (The Slammers). Dancing at the Heineken rugby cup final, Millennium Stadium (2006) and Dancing at the nickelodeon awards, Opera House, London (2006).

Emma is very excited to join the cast of "One Night in Vegas" and dedicates her performances to her parents for supporting every step of her career.

 

 

Kimberley Mackie

Dancer

Kim started dancing at an early age and then continued with full time training at Elmhurst Ballet School from the age of 11. She received a scholarship to attend the Hungarian Classical Summer School in Budapest and also trained with the Baltimore Acting Conservatory in Maryland, USA.

Since graduating from Elmhurst, she has been fortunate enough to travel all over the world dancing. She has recently finished working for Princess Cruises where she was also featured as a singer.

She is really looking forward to touring the UK with 'One Night In Vegas' and wants to thank her family for their constant love and support.

 

 

 

Lauren Berry

Dancer

Lauren was born in 1987 in Oxford. She started dancing, acting and singing at a young age performing in ’Jack And The Beanstalk’ pantomime in Oxford and also appeared in the film ’Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone’. 

At 19 she graduated from Stella Mann College of  Performing Arts in Bedfordshire with a Level 6 NQF in Professional Musical Theatre. Following her training she has taught drama and dance for ’TheatreTrain’ and has performed in numerous music videos for artists such as Darren B. She has also made some TV appearances for MTV’s ‘Tearjerkers’ , ‘The Kylie Show’ and ‘The Friday Night Project’.

Lauren is excited about  joining the cast of ‘One Night In Vegas’.

 

 

 

Gemma Burstow

Dancer

Gemma started dancing at the age of 3 in her hometown of Worthing on the Sussex Coast.She found her love for the stage at a young age, performing across the South of England in shows and pantomimes, as well as performing at the Edinburgh Festival, touring Lake Garda in Italy with her choir and singing for Tony Blair at the labour party conference.

At the age of 16 she went on to train professionally at Laine Theatre Arts. Where she graduated at 19 with a national diploma and her teaching associate in Ballet.That summer Gemma moved to Portugal where she danced in Casinos across the Algarve before starting her career at sea.During the last 4 years Gemma has been lucky enough to dance her way around the world a few times over, as well as being involved on the production side of things as a stager and installer working for Jean Ann Ryan on the Saga Rose and Peter Grey Terhune on the Seven Seas Voyager and Mariner where she also acted as Dance Captain.

Gemma is excited to be back at home where it all started after all these years and looking forward to touring the UK and performing with the cast of "One night in Vegas"She would like to thank her family and friends as without them none of this would have been possible.
